Being a volunteer in God’s initiatives is one of the most rewarding ways to invest your time! Business men and women have said again and again of how helping some people for a couple hours a week is the best time of their week! I’m busy. Can I volunteer part-time? – "Yes. We have a wide range of roles and responsibilities in all ministries. Ministry involves flexibility."
If I don’t like a ministry, can I switch where I serve? -- "Yes. We value mature communication and self-understanding. We all know of people who serve out of guilt or manipulation or fear. We don’t want that. If you are seeking to grow and a ministry doesn’t fit your abilities, team chemistry, or time pressures, we expect you to share that and we together can figure out better ways for you to serve Jesus."
Do I have to be a church member to serve? – "There is a story behind every question. We want to hear your story. Membership is not required for all roles in ministry, but belonging to a church family makes any ministry 1000 times better."
I like working alone. Is that ok? -- "Yes. Most of our ministries are driven by a model of teamwork because we believe that’s how God wants a family to live. But some ministries only permit for one or two people due to other dynamics. So consider which ministries God has placed on your heart and talk to us. You may be amazed to find that you are just the person we have been looking for!"

WORSHIP MINISTRIES
GREETER TEAM
A smiling face, a warm handshake, and a friendly greeting make people feel welcomed and provides a quick information reference for first time guests.
USHER TEAM
Perhaps the most visible of all ministry teams, ushers seat people, hand out bulletins, handle crowd control, answer visitor’s questions, and help take the offering.
AUDIO/VISUAL TEAM
Make the words of God clear through sound systems and PowerPoint presentations. .
MUSIC MINISTRIES
There are opportunities to serve in adult and children’s choir, bell choir, instrumental support, and special music ministries.
ARTISTIC MINISTRIES
We are looking for people who are willing to coordinate and initiate sermon support dramas, puppet ministries, musicals, and prepare creative bulletin boards.
WEB SITE MINISTRIES
We are looking for people of skill and sensitivity to be able to catch and communicate the wide range of information in our church.
FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES
VISITATION
Help extend the love, comfort and compassion of Jesus Christ to those admitted to the hospital or confined to their homes by illness. Also visit new comers and regular attendees and offer Christian love.
COMPASSION GROUPS (Clothes Drive, and etc)
Serve the physical needs of those in our church family who have daily needs, or have experienced a birth, illness or death in their family, or difficult life transitions.
FOOD / SOCIAL GROUPS
Can you open your house for visitors? Do you enjoy “behind the scene” ministries of preparing food, cleaning up, and being help in the kitchen? Then this team is for you!
SUNDAY MORNING COFFEE TEAM
Does it delight you to see children and adults sharing time together as they enjoy drinks and snacks prepared by you and the team? Be a part of the team!
DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES
SUNDAY SCHOOL
It's about sharing clear Biblical teaching. It's about facilitating discussions. It’s about building people up.
ATHLETIC MINISTRIES
It is about motivating people to grow in Christ as we develop our bodies through physical activities.
LIBRARY
Assist people in finding spiritual resources to help them learn and grow. Help sort and catalogue new and returned books.
PRAYER MINISTRIES
It's about training and motivating people to pray, and planning prayer events/gatherings.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEAMS
Nursery, Kids Rock, Children’s Church, are just a few of the ministries that help children learn about Jesus and his love for them. Our ministries from Nursery to Grade 5 need leaders and ministry assistants.
YOUTH MINISTRIES
It’s about impact. It’s about passion. It’s about life. It’s about knowing God. It’s about time. Come shape the future of God’s Kingdom.
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
This team is responsible for providing a variety of activities and care where young adults can grow, meet, mingle, and connect with other Christians.
LADIES MORNING OUT
This team is about assisting ladies in their spiritual growth and encouragement. It’s about knowing Jesus, practically serving one another, and creative fun.
SMALL GROUPS
We are looking for hosts, helpers, and apprentices (a leader in training). Step out and be part of this ministry by serving in a small group of your choice.
YOUNG AT HEART MINISTRIES (50+)
Help plan an event. Provide transportation to a fellow senior. Phone call or visit those who are unable to attend the events.
SERVING MINISTRIES
FLOWERS AND DECORATIONS
This is about having an eye for decorations that will enhance the worship experiences of the congregation.
"FIX-IT" TEAM
Painting, cleaning, fixing, and building projects are just a few of the things to be done around church.
ADMINISTRATIVE HELP
Help our staff prepare bulletins, update computer data files, design and prepare bulletin boards, answer phones, and serve a wide range of needs in our community.
BEYOND THE BORDER
MISSION / OUTREACH
WOMAN’S MISSION SOCIETY
Volunteers needed for prayer, donations, food, devotional leaders and sharing of mission experiences.
WOMAN’S GLOBAL ADVENTURE
This team is about sharing missions overseas and at home with children and Little Lights. Help with crafts, nursery care for Little Lights, snacks, or speak to the children about missions once a month.
SHORT-TERM MISSIONS
Are you interested in serving in a short-term project overseas? Can you fundraise, work hard, listen, be flexible, and sacrifice personal comforts for Jesus? This is for you!
LOCAL MISSIONS (Food bank, and etc.)
Are you ready to engage people with the message and practical reality of Jesus? Serve in our food bank, make stocking stuffers, fold clothes, help serve in our community suppers, and learn how to serve people locally.
