“What would happen if we really took hold of our inheritance?  He chose us – picked each one out for an inheritance!  Do you want a wild ride?  Then it is only a wild ride if someone else is driving!  Have you ever completely let go of the commands of your life to just see what God would do?  This DVD series will definitely challenge you in that direction.  Psalm 16:5-6  “The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance”.

We’ll be taking a look at the nations of Judah and Israel, how they turned from God, and how the Prophets Elijah and Elisha worked to stand for Truth and the Mosaic Law.  We’ll see stories of courage, depression, miracles and more.  We’ll also see God’s character revealed in these stories of history.  These events are relevant for us today.

Spiritual Disciplines for Every Day People

We all long to connect with God, and we know we should read the Bible and pray.  In this class we will take the mystery out of spiritual disciplines.  Class time will be split between teaching and practice.  We will actually do the disciplines we learn about, such as Bible reading, prayer, solitude, and fasting.  In the process we will meet God and discover significance, love, real change, order, peace, and a way of life that works.
