Frequently asked Questions
Can I bring my friend who doesn’t believe in God?
Yes! Everyone is welcome to meet Jesus all the time. We welcome doubts and serious questions. Let your friend come with his/her pains, doubts and questions, and all we ask is that he/she keeps coming until they are ready to meet Jesus in a personal way. Then, together, we can all journey through our life struggles to both live and support one another as God intended.
I do not like big crowds. You church sounds “big” to me. So why should I come?
You should come to meet Jesus in a one-on-one context, and we hope that you will make a friend in a smaller setting too. For instance, we have a number of
Sunday School classes where about 10 people study the Bible in a smaller, interactive atmosphere, although no one is required or forced to speak. Every Sunday, these classes start at 9:30 AM for all ages. So if you're a youth, or adult, the smaller context is the best way to connect so you don't feel alone in our church of about 300 people.
Is the sanctuary wheelchair accessible?
Yes! We have an easy to operate elevator that accesses 4 levels of our church and spaces are reserved in our sanctuary for wheelchairs and someone to sit with them. We also have a heated wheelchair ramp to provide traction and safety in the winter months.
What do I do with my children during church?
The choice is yours. You can choose to keep your child with you or you can place them in one of our care programs. We have a skilled nursery team and an excellent children’s program for children up to grade 5 for both Sunday services. Your children will love our fun, relational volunteers who make these times informative and creative.
Is Sunday transportation provided?
Yes! Transportation can be provided on our 15 passenger van. It picks up and delivers people home before and after all Sunday services. Call the church at 857-4260 or the van driver, Steve Williston, at 384-6579. The van is not wheelchair accessible but we will help get you here if that is your only obstacle.
