We are very pleased that Dr. John Weiler has joined the staff of Highfield Baptist as Intentional Interim Pastor. With a lot of experience in pastoral ministry and more than 10 years as Regional Pastor, Dr. Weiler will oversee preaching. In addition, he will guide the church in an intentional process of working through key issues between pastors, such as mission and vision. Ordained in 1995, Troy grew up on PEI and has served Baptist churches in Shelburne NS, Grand Manan NB, and Saint John NB. He is married to Jan, and they have two boys, Ian and Mark. Troy enjoys being outdoors to canoe, fish, hike, bike and camp. He loves music and plays trumpet, horn, bass, and acoustic guitar. As a writer, Troy has contributed to Tidings mission magazine, Christian Week, Seven (Promise Keepers Canada), and several other publications. Gordon joined the staff of Highfield in 2011. Originally from Moncton, Gordon has served in active ministry for almost 40 years. He loves anything related to music and enjoys pastoral visiting. He is married to Marianne and together they have 6 children and 15 grandchildren.
